God revealed to me that the most significant stumbling block to walking in the Supernatural is a failure to surrender to Him. When we ultimately give everything over to God, we gain our life and begin to walk in His power. God can’t get the best of us until our human will is dissolved. Many of the miracles that I have seen have been the result of emptying me of my carnal thoughts, surrendering to the Holy Spirit, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide my words. Many times when I’m praying for the sick, I will command healing in a certain part of their body that they haven’t even told me about. Not only will this usually surprise them, but will also get them to acknowledge the fact that they didn’t even tell me about that pain or illness. With a smile, I will usually respond by saying, “Yes I know, but Jesus told me because He loves you and doesn’t want you to have that pain.”

Surrender is simply allowing Jesus to lead you in all areas of your life and putting little value on your needs and great value on His. Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your heart. My most favorite thing to do now is to minister to others.
