Command it in the Name of Jesus: an excerpt from Darrell Benton’s New Book “Heal the Sick”

One of the biggest mistakes I notice people make is when they “ask” God for the healing.  Don’t “ask” God, but rather “command” the healing “in the name of Jesus Christ.” An example of this would be if you were to say, “In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the pain to leave you right now.”  Another way of doing it would be to say, “In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the eyes to open.” In other words, command the negative to go away and speak life into it. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Mark 11:23  “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”. Notice Jesus says to speak to the mountain.

A young lady approached me on the ministry team, walking with a cane and in apparent pain. The doctor told her she needed surgery because the muscles and tendons attached to her patella were not strong enough. I had the lady I was mentoring grow her leg out but that didn’t solve the problem. So I commanded the ligaments, tendons and muscles to strengthen around her patella. She was instantly healed and was running and jumping. She had this problem for two and a half years and had thought about suicide. She is so happy not to have to take all the pain pills daily and I now see her at church up front dancing. There are many people out there that are not being healed because there are not enough of us willing to be responsible for the power that Jesus empowered and trusted us to feed His sheep.
